Ford Motor Co. will improve MyFord Touch, which uses voice and touch-screen controls, but won't remove it despite recent criticism that it distracts drivers, CEO Alan Mulally said last week. With the technology, also offered on Lincoln vehicles as MyLincoln Touch, drivers use a touch screen on the center console to control such things as temperature, music and cell phones.

A Bipper Beep Beep... now there's a name to be proud of
Yes, indeed. We thought Citroen's Nemo was a bit of a joke name, but the Beep Beep takes the silly name game on to the next level.
Land Rover has just built a one-off Defender truck for marine explorer and conservationist Monty Halls. A noted TV presenter and marine biologist, Halls has helmed several TV shows on BBC and Animal Planet. He is perhaps best known for his TV series called “Great Ocean Adventures,” his National Geographic specials, and his work on The Underwater Channel.
